A Lucky Day

A lucky day indeed. The Liquor store by me just remodeled and did a very nice job doing it I might add. But that wasn't why I went, I was looking for a nice Single Malt that I perchance hadn't tried before. Yet I walked in they were having a big markdown of 20% - 50% off. Yes 50% OFF! Instead of one, I walked out with four bottles of some mighty fine Scotch.

I found a GREAT way to get decent prices on Scotch and other liquors... Marry an international Flight Attendant!

My bride (when flying) makes routine trips to places like Dublin, Heathrow and Berlin and can bring back two bottles per trip duty free. Cuts the price in half compared to the local government liquor stores.

She carries a list with her at all times!

Well met my new fishing friend. Yes I do know what a wahoo is (unless you're describing my brothers in High Point.) My wife won't allow a flight attendant into my life. So, I keep her up to date on the "suds" posted here though, even if I haven't had a drop of spirits stronger than Kenyan AA fresh ground, some brain cells are gone but the tongue (muscle memory) for a fine dram has never left me.
