Well, hylander, it seems I should have spent a bit more time at Tandy when picking up the leather and such.

Mind you, it was very gratifying to figure out and produce the wooden toggle braided into the loop and tassel. The result is after attempt six or seven. It is also is getting some nice compliments.

But yes, I take your advice and will definately consider the Tandy closures as I'm also partial to that hook one.

I like the closure you came up with, sometimes there is a reason we don't find what we think we want. l do like the pin closures, I had found 3 of them on eBay and then it was about 2 years of looking until Tandy came out with these. I've learned to get them while I can, they will disappear as quickly as they showed up.
