If you are into tartans and history... you just need to read through a lot of Peter's (Figheadair's) research. It is amazing and will give you a nice understanding of the history as well as the color pallette of that period.

Hi Everybody
Thanks for your comments and what tartan that might be , as for me I love that tartan and it suits the look that I am going for with my Jacobite outfit which is rustic, looks old etc. And while that particular tartan may not be historical correct to some, I'm sure once lined and finished it will look fantastic. Once finished I will post a photo of the completed jacket.
