Got mine today; really pretty, but the sheath is quite loose from the knife. I hate to say it, but as suggested, I'm going to have to replace the beautiful and creative sheath with a leather one.

Does yours have a magnet in the sheath?
Mine has a magnet embedded in the inside of the sheath.
It grabs the blade pretty well.
The only down side for sock wear is it is kind of heavy.

Yes, it has a magnet and doesn't slip out but it wobbles around inside the sheath a lot.

I think you will find it well worth the effort, Father. Creative as it is, that original sheath is somewhat cumbersome and slippery. Your hose have to be pretty tight to hold it in place.

I got my Colt Sgian a week ago, and I think it's quite nice...asie from the wobbly magnetic sheath. The knife itself is a bit heavy, but it's really nicely made and VERY sharp!
I think the burled wood is maybe a bit too blond for my liking, I may refinish it with Linseed oil to darken it a bit.

Having worn my Colt quite a bit I've found the finish is affected by sweat, not in a terribly bad way, just becoming more matte; which actually makes it less slip-slidey in the hose. I'll probably sand that side with some 600-grit or finer emery-cloth and lightly oil it with something skin-safe just to prevent moisture getting into the wood.

Anybody figure out how to stop the wobble?
