Thank you Stitchwiz. I am grateful for this once in a lifetime opportunity to own a bit of treasure, and I'm delighted how it turned out. The attention to detail is everywhere to be seen, from the line matching, to the lining. See this image of the place where the cuff meets the sleeve.
I have looked quite closely, but cannot see how the tailor sewed in the raised lines of the cuff and managed to get these lines right through up the sleeve. The cloth is very heavy and weather resistant. It has started to snow here, but I wore it out 3 times last week quite comfortably.

Farmer Jones ... that is first rate ! What a beautiful tweed !! I love the base color and the pattern , also the tailoring is most definitely superb .
You have certainly made a wise decision on the tailor and you have a very good eye on selecting the tweed . ( can't say enough good things about that tweed ! )

My brother tells me she was gushing over the photos of you and Nathan, when he showed her the thread about Kingston Scottish Festival.

Thanks. I really enjoyed our little chats as we got this together. I know it was a more complicated transaction than normal, but you quickly understood and accommodated me. I don't want to come across as an advert for you, but it is very difficult to resist expressing my delight with your classic styling, attention to detail and customer friendly approach.

You should show her this photo then:
