I read somewhere that Gap and several others like Hilfiger(sp?), etc. tried a kilt line but they didn't go anywhere. Of course you have to advertise more than pants and ugly shirts if you want to sell kilts. I'm guessing it was either a lie or they didn't try very hard.
As for your question I don't care what it's for. Do it kilted. They might have been so willing to let you wear your kilt beause they're only shooting from the waist up?
