I don't know why that may be, Isaac. It shows up fine at my end here. I don't know how to fix it here.

    Perhaps a moderator can help?

Failing that, I did also post the pics on Facebook.

Second photo may be from a site or avenue that our work block is filtering it out. I will likely see it here (or on FaceBook) tonight when I return home,

I really like the green block. Really helps the red to flash from under the pleats.

Love the picture of the tartan scarf!

Anyway, the tartan is just wonderful and as I read through the thread, what really stands out is how completely excited you both are, and how much fun you're having with this. This is great!

Orionson , the more that I look at your original choice of pleating to the green block ... the more I like it . It gives a nice contrast to the front apron . It offers a more subdued and " earthy " look with the brown and green being more pronounced , along with a bold red flash underneath , which shows the versatility of this tartan .

However , if you are having thoughts about introducing a bit of the red into the back of the kilt ... then based on your last two pictures , I might go with this one ( seems like it offers more of the brown and green along with the red ) .

I can certainly understand your final thoughts about pleating this beautiful tartan and your desire to explore just a bit more . I would definitely do the same thing .... especially given the most special journey of this tartan .

Personally speaking , I don't think you go can wrong . This tartan has enough beauty and versatility to sustain many pleating choices ( as you have shown ) . Although , I do lean to your first choice .

    Cheers , Mike
