They look like regular "Argyle" men's dress socks to me. Decorative tops notwithstanding, I don't see them being a very good option as kilt hose. Could you maybe put 'em on with a kilt and let us see them in context?

I am selfie impaired- I will enlist someone to assist tomorrow. Thanks all for the "encouragement." I get the feeling I may have wasted $6.

I wouldn't consider $6.00 a waste of money on leg coverings. I compare it to getting free mints at the register after a meal. You've already spent the money, it is now your option to consume the goods. Test them out for yourself, (privately if you wish) a recycling bin is always at hand if you choose.

ID:	23419well, I put them on and a friend shot some pictures, but they ( the files) were too large to post. After a little study on the Internet, I was able to learn to re-size the files. Gee, what a great place the internet is.

    I can tell two things:
    1) the castellation becomes a very slight ruffle
    2) despite my manly calves, these hose make anything inside them look skinny.

They have officially migrated into the trouser hose department
