Sorry for my delay, but here is a photo with a good family friend from last weekend's St. Andrew's Dinner. The photo quality from my iPhone is bad, due to the low light at the event.
Here's a photo showing the same outfit at a wedding from last summer where I was piping for some friends:

Brand new MacMichael Kilt, presumably from Dalgliesh although the kiltmaker wouldn't divulge. Works well with the dark red accessories I think.

Inspired by this thread and some FaceBook conversations, I decided to start putting together a more formal kit. I just received this waistcoat and regulation doublet from David Pope. I am in need to getting a better tux shirt and a black tie as well as will be getting a more formal sporran soon on a trade. I am excited to be able to dress more formally now and without having spent a lot.

Not my best photo. In May of 2014 I attended a meeting in Baltimore, MD with black tie requested. I always read "or equivalent" after such a request.
