Large men in red keep following me
Two weeks ago, I was in USA Kilts shop, and picked up an ex-hire kilt in the Celtic Nations tartan. I was lucky to find one in my exact size. It's very Christmas-y, so I've been wearing it a lot. (See a pic here.)
Yesterday, for the third time in two weeks, I've had a mall Santa stop me as I walk by. It's a little surprising when I get tapped on the shoulder by a gloved hand in a red suit. But it does make me smile.
What's that tartan? Where did you get it? Was it custom? Looks like Santa is interested in tartan. And I don't blame him.

Yes, it is a great tartan, and I love that it happens to be perfect for the season at hand. I have the Celtic Nations in the 5 yard wool. However, when I wear the kilt, the mall santas do not like me. With my long white hair and beard, (real and natural), kids and adults start giving me their wish lists. I was asked to leave a mall once for outshining the hired mall santa. LOL (after the security asked me to leave, the manager offered me the job.)
Have a good season.
