It Has Been Done
Made the order this morning.
Now, the wait.
Ordered a Douglas Modern Philabeg. What can I say? It's inspired beauty.
**Looks at door** is it here yet?
What about now?
Now?
Hmm?
No?
So what do I do now? This is already unbearable. Damn
Now?
So really, what happens now? Do I get to shmooze with celebrity kilt makers, hammering out my options, and getting minute to minute updates on kilt progress?
If I can wait for a dreadlock to mature, I reckon I can wait for a kilt to arrive. Maybe. Possibly.
Well, what about now?

Ah, well we all have to go thru that wait! Just spare a thought for those in far off countries that have an extra week or more.
At least with USAK the wait will be mercilessly short, they have recently put on an extra 50 leprechauns to help out with the laborious sewing and cutting. They work cheap too, just a pint of guinness a day.

DrD... were you one of those HUGE pains in the backside to your parents the week before Christmas?
I've been waiting for a kilt for more than 4 months. I can guarantee that you won't have NEAR that kind of wait!

I understand the anticipation, those imaginary knocks on the door, the turn of the head when trucks go by hoping they are stopping at your door.
Congratulations, it will come sooner than you may think, but always later than you want

Ahh I remember it well, a trip to the Post office and then ducking behind a building in a park a couple of blocks away -- ripping the package open and trying on the Kilt.. Memories
Ditto what Glen Said...

Hey, doc, I am sure that USA kilts will treat you much better than the company from which I ordered my first kilt.

Doc, I find it helpful to keep the post office on their toes by calling every 15 minutes just to make sure they know you have a package coming.
