I gather Outlander is currently filming in my home village, Aberdour in Fife, Scotland. Shame I'm living no where close at present.

Yes, we found that out last week. In the meantime, catch this PBS special on Great Estates Scotland...

Just got the DVDs from the library.....of all the changes from the book, did anyone else notice the season change from May Day to Halloween? This will then make it illogical to have the Wentworth scenes in the snow, etc.

Outlander on Amazon Prime
For anyone in the UK who has not picked up on it yet, the first 8 episodes of Outlander are available on Amazon Prime, which can be joined free for 30 days, provided you have not had a previous free trial. Be aware that they do not tell you that. If you click on the free trial link and have already had one then they will charge you £79 and hope you do not notice until after the 14 day cooling off period.
If, like me, Amazon have already given you a free trial, without asking you or notifying you, then you are still not eligible. I only picked it up when they charged me £79, which they did refund, but if you have an Amazon account, it would pay you to check your Prime status on it. I was not a one off, there are a number of people on forums reporting the same thing, along with even more who did not check the T&C when joining deliberately.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
