BBQ-Blu
Fall is here. The trees are full of color and the days are shorter and cooler. Soon the leaves will be gone and there will be snow on the ground. My wife took this photo of me a few minutes ago cooking supper outside. There may not be many nice days like this left to enjoy so I thought I'd share a moment of this one.

Cheers,
blu

Excellent pic, Blu! I'm quite jealous...here's is a terrible shot that my wife took of me this afternoon. Over 6" of the white fluffy stuff on teh ground. Not quite the same scenery, eh. LOL

I'm wearing my heavyweight clan 'Henderson' kilt, Handmade in Nova Scotia by Rosemary MacIsaac.

Ohhhhh Nooooo! This does not bode well for us in Ontario. What you folks get, we usually get within a week.

Well, it's 12.30am Sunday here and the temperature outside my kitchen door is 62ºF - really mild for the time of year, especially at night. On the other hand, we've had heavy rain and gale-force winds all day. I've not been outside the house since yesterday and haven't spoken to a soul.
So no-one saw my kilt on Saturday. Yikes!!
Blu, that is a gorgeous tartan, but shouldn't you be wearing an apron over it when BBQing food? :o

Hamish beat me to it with the comment on the apron, nice tartan Blu, beautiful colours!
I was forced out of a kilt today, after an hour or two with a brushcutter clearing scrub in a kilt, I had to pull down a 100 yards of wire fence and remove a heap of posts with a tractor, I decided it wasn' worth risking even my oldest kilt so I put overalls on.
I got so hot in the things, I could wait to take them off.
I really hate trousers now more than ever!
Sorry you lads are getting such weather, don't worry, while you're all freezing over the next few months I'll post LOTS of really sunny piccies of me on the beach - just to make you feel better
