    Talking Best Dollar Dance Ever

There's an odd tradition at weddings in some areas of the US where you pay a dollar and then dance with the bride or groom. Considering my sister's wedding had a Star Wars themed reception I just had to do it. There's me and my brother in law just an hour after we became family swinging away like mad men while romantic music played in the background. I believe he will do well in our family.

The custom is not uncommon in some Euro-nations. Your version of it... perhaps a little less so.

Congratulations on acquiring a new member of your family. Looks like both of you are true jedi.

Star Wars themed reception? That's simply awesome, shows passion for something without making the ceremony itself break tradition.

In our area, someone will host a "Buck and Doe" party where there is usually a Dollar Dance - but with inflation it is usually $5 or $10. The tradition carries on in many different variations in different cultures.

I'll have more pics from the reception soon. The photographer has been a tad tardy as she was very pregnant when she took these.
