Not bad looking though like you said a bit thick. Im sure it will work fine and be functional when you have a cold bottle of brew in your hand needing opening. If you have any time, it didnt take me long, and some good carving knives and scrap wood you can fashion your own. Opener blanks can be found via google, all you need is a little time to do it.
