John- Agree about the DC! Our kids went to the same school as the DC kids. Our son graduated with Alan's daughter a number of years ago. Their senior party was at Phil's house. Uncle Si was "my" Grand Marshal for the past two Veterans Day parades and a speaker at our associated Traveling Wall ceremony. (I was Ride Captain for the lead-off motorcycles and overall chair this past year.)

Hi Guy and a warm welcome from sunny Queensland!
I almost hesitate to ask what "Tubular Meats" might be?
Regards, Sav.

Visited Queensland many years ago. Loved it. Have good friends who are Sydneysiders. "Tubular Meats" are hot dogs, bratwursts, and other torpedo-shaped sausages that many people enjoy eating garnished with a popular yellow condiment. Easy to cook over the open fires we use at an encampment.

Hi, Guy, and welcome to X Marks from the bottom end of Africa.
You wear the kilt well. Mustard is a colour I don’t object to in clothing (I have a pair of mustard kilt hose), but I’m not too fond of the condiment (long story).
Regards,
Mike

Mike Oettle- Thanks. I don't use the condiment myself so no explanations necessary We were fortunate enough to visit your country the first two weeks of last September. Cape Town, Blue Train to Pretoria/Joburg and a few days of safari in Hoedspruit. Absolutely loved it! Did not want to come home. I don't need to say anything about the scenery and animals but we also fell in love with the people of your country.
