a 16 year old wants to carry a sword when he is already dressed in a manner that will draw possibly unwanted attention in his neighbor hood.does this really need to be commented on?

Just me, but the kilt would be entirely incidental to me - focus would be on the sword - only because in my teenage foolish years I was attacked by another teen waving a sword around and threatening to use it. I also know of people killed by drug crazed people who used a sword to cut them up most thoroughly. I like how they "peace tie" swords and other bladed weapons at Ren Fairs. Nope, if I encounter a person with sword don't think I'd notice anything they were wearing...would be focused on the sword.

There are a lot of things in this world that are legal but neither desireable nor sensible. Just because you "can" doesn't mean you "should"

This doesn't only apply to me, and there's no need nor place for such un-critical, clearly biased commentary.
