    Campbells of Beauly takenover

Beauly “Guardians of tweed” in new old hands - this is good news and hopefully means that the firm will survive for many years to come.

The new owners with their tweed and tailoring credentials is a hopeful sign. I shall be sorry not to be greeted by the charming team that have held the fort for so long. Although the "team" were getting on a tad, perhaps some may remain, at least for a wee while? Whatever the future holds for the business, I wish the new owners every success.

In a related but off-topic question; from the photo in the article, can anyone identify the tartan the Duchess of Rothesay is wearing for her coat lining and scarf?

Answered my own question, it's the STA 984 - Rothesay #2 or Rothesay Hunting tartan, as is the Duke's kilt.
