Well, the price is right! I carry a coldsteel recon 1 folder and love it! It gets used daily and is very well made. I'm interested in these plastic knives as a rustproof option for my car emergency kit, my tackle box, tool box, etc.

I just might order a few, there are many designs to choose from too!

While these knives are "plastic" the term may be a bit misleading. They are a high tech, fiberglass reinforced plastic, and I have used them to cut stuff from heavy cardboard to salami for sandwiches. They are real knives and should be treated as such.

Geoff you are certainly right about this line of knives ! While plastic safety sgian dubhs these are not .

it reminds me of a cia letter opener popular in the 70's and 80's they were used as tent stakes, pounded with a hammer and they were still usable and undetectable by metal detectors.
