That's too daggum funny! The company that I owned before USAKilts was "The Colonial Prairie Wood Shop". We made custom cabinets, and produced custom furniture to match client's existing pieces!

What is it about woodworking and kilts?

My company was Fathom Woodcraft. It was mainly turning but I wouldn't turn my nose up at some restoration or custom work.
I've always wanted to be a writer and have spent years honing that skill. I can even spell hockey! (heh heh)

BTW, I am an excellent turner. I've given many private lessons and some of my students have become very fine turners themselves.
I've made everything from tree ornaments to solid oak piano legs. Very heavy, those. (When your lathe starts chasing you across the room, it's probable you've miscalculated the centre.)
