Last year we too spent a very enjoyable afternoon at the Transportation museum in Glasgow. I was also kilted.
Your link worked fine, but you can also copy the info in the "img" box (4th from the top) and paste it into your post.
Cheers

Great idea! Wondering if any of you have ideas on how to get a kilt event started in your community? We have a nice Irish pub that opened about 3 miles from my home. Has anyone ever approached a local establishment about starting a kilt night?

Excellent! My neighbor across the street has a nice kilt so there are at least two of us to start this off

Kilted Friday! One of my teen daughters asked why I was wearing my kilt today. "Because it's Kilted Friday!"
While out and about running errands, I did get one "I love your kilt!" Then she asked if it was MacDonald (no Black Watch), then if played (assume bagpipes). No. But I know some who do!!

I was going to have a Kilted Friday this week, but then I realized that Monday the 6th is National Tartan Day - so I'm going to do a kilted Monday instead. Anyone else?

yes, I too will be wearing the kilt on Monday. I am a docent at the National Historic Maritime Park here in S.F. and have been given permission to wear the kilt on Monday instead of my usual outfit. Will be wearing my 8yd Stewart Old sett, brown tweed jacket, light blue shirt, red tie and hose and black leather sporran and shoes. Hope to get a picture or two of me on board our 1886 Glasgow built 3 masted square rigger Balclutha.
