Made it to work at my new position kilted also -- first time for this group - so far, so good. Am wearing the Gordon Red tartan. Hope to have pics when my wife joins me for lunch.

Here I am visiting coconspiritors of my misguided youth. Spell check is a pain in the kilt when you try to misspell something on purpose.

One of my trips was also of a similar spiritual nature today....

I wear a kilt, everyday, I'm proud of my kilts, glad it's been Tartan day,but for me that's everyday. I'm from Manchester and I'm not remotely Scottish! My grandfather was from Dumfirmline.

I got permission to wear a kilt to work today. Here I am in the Maritime Park's visitors center standing next to a first order Fresnel light that used to be on the Farallone Islands, 26 miles outside the Golden Gate.
Tartan is Stewart Old Sett and jacket is a Saxon jacket that I had converted.

Great looking outfit. One of the better jacket conversions as well (IMHO). Did you get any interesting comments from visitors to the park?

I celebrated Tartan Day with our local Scottish Society on Saturday at the Apothecary Shop of the Scot-American patriot Dr./Gen. Hugh Mercer.
