Thanks Liam. No, only one comment all day oddly enough but most of the day I was sitting behind the desk in the visitor's center and people couldn't tell I was wearing the kilt.

I normally work in the field, but today was an office day, which meant I could partake in Tartan Day also. None of my coworkers even batted an eye since I've been kilted at every company party since I've worked here.

Before I retired last fall, I too would kilt up for company parties, and Tartan Day.
Nice looking business outfit, btw.

Went to work kilted today and both my wife and boss said the same thing: you're confusing me, it isn't Friday! My boss said I should've told him about it before and he would've worn his tartan tie.
No photos, guess I failed in that regard.

I also was kilted the entire day Monday, and did not receive any questions about it at all. Of course, I am pretty much kilted all the time so that might explain it. So I guess to actually do something special for Tartan Day I need to purchase some tartan trews or some such. Perhaps THAT will raise some eyebrows!

I hadn't planned anything particular yesterday, but there was a free concert given by the Tempe Symphony Orchestra and my son needs to attend and review a couple of concerts for school.
He's fourteen and has shown no interest in wearing a kilt, but, since it was Tartan Day, I asked him if he wanted to wear my Mitchell tartan tie.
He did and when folks approached and discussed my kilt, he was very keen on informing them it's our 'actual' tartan.
