Houston Kilt Night May 30th 2015

I want to have a kilt night in the North Houston area since the Houston Scottish games and Celtic festival are no more. To be honest, I'm pretty disappointed about the fact. But, at least I can have a kilt night. If others are willing as well I suppose. But what would be the appropriate sub-forum to post in?

Can you come up with some ideas? You might get some response from your area. There is avoid there that needs to be filled.

I'm also chatting on another kilt forum. I'm looking at May 30th. Location is still up for debate, but I'm thinking The Gooses Acre in The Woodlands. I say the Woodlands because I live in Huntsville, and that is between me and Houston.

I live in Austin but I could always get a ride to Houston for a meet up if the times are on the weekend or this summer. So, I'm in.

For the record, so far we have myself, Thirteenthcor, another member of X-marks that I talked to on FB. A friend of mine in Huntsville. I got a probably from one person, and a maybe from another. Both of which on a different forum. So we are looking at 4-7 people so far. I tried contacting Houston Scottish games personality on FB, but they didn't really reply to me about the kilt night idea.

My only issue is I just had to send my order of kilts back due to them being far too short, and the turnaround for a custom kilt for myself could be more than a month out assuming my refund comes in soon enough from the kilts I sent back.
