Greetings from Odessa Ontario canada
Hi new to the board thought I'd drop a line to introduce my self.
I am a Building Inspector for the township I live in and am currently trying to convince the powers that be that wearing a kilt on the job would not be a bad thing in the summer heat any articles that you can point me to, to help the cause will be appreciated.
I am also a lampworker and blow glass I also dabble in stained glass and fusing. see parkinsondesign studio on facebook for a few photos of my work if your interested, no online sales I only sell at local craft shows and galleries. shipping glass is a 50/50 survival rate no matter how well its packed.
I currently have 5 Kilts in my rotation
16oz hand sewn by S.W.M.B.O. Lindsay (her clan)
12oz hand sewn by S.W.M.B.O. Royal Stewart
a beat up workman Utilikilt that get worn into my glass blowing studio every weekend
a Black heavy weight Shadow Tartan by Stillwater
a dark brown Utilkilt knock off that S.W.M.B.O. got at the local Scots and Irish store
on the way soon I hope to have a Maple Leaf Tartan
look forward to meeting you online
