    The Hazuma seems like a very close analog to the early forms of the kilt... and also seems like a great garment for Summer. Too bad I don't have any ancestry from that part of the world... kilts are pretty stifling once the temperature breaks 80 Farenheit.

    You look great in both and thank you for the education. I can see why you appreciate how much more freedom you get in a kilt though and the hazuma, although a lot lighter, can't have the built in air circulation you get from the sway of a kilt.
    If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

    Hey, Livonian...

    ...when the temp is above 80 F in this former pestiential swamp, THE most comfortable kit personally is a 5.11 Tactical Duty kilt and "Hawaiian" shirt with brimmed hat.
