The kids gave softball practice until 7pm CST and Hilary has to work... 12 hour drive... not going to make it.

I WILL make sure to don a kilt and pour a dram in all your honour. Meanwhile, my mind will be in Toronto tonight.

I'm wearing a waistcoat, tweed jacket, watch and chain etc... so yeah, smart daywear for me.

I wonder if I might make a request? Would it be possible to put names to those in the picture? Not for every picture perhaps, as I/we "know" many of you, but it is always nice to put names to faces, particularly if they happen to be members here.

If I might say so, I think its a lovely thing to do in having a friendly gathering amongst fellow thinkers and enthusiasts on a regular basis. I just wish this wee stretch of water between us was not quite so wide. On the other hand, you all over there, may think that its not quite wide enough!

I'd say the distance is too far and if I had my way it would be much shorter.

Great! Thank you Nathan. I don't know if anyone else thinks this way, but to my mind putting names to faces with pictures on a website such as this, does help to reduce the impersonal aspect of the internet and does in a small way reduce the "distance" between us.
