Ron, the old bitty was probably upset seeing 3 ethnic outfits all together. We had absolutely no problems, but this town is almost totally white bread. The few minorities that live here are mostly not citizens. I'm seriously considering volunteering to work the polls next time. They seemed kind of short handed today.

I too voted today. But I was on my way home, so no kilts for me either.

I hope the turn out is good. That would be a nice change!

I'm thankful that here in Oregon they do all mailed ballots (which you can drop off in person any time), so I voted last week and haven't had to stand in line. But I do admire all those with the dedication to stand in line for hours/in the rain, whomever they vote for.

I did get to go canvassing last week for the candidate I am supporting (no need to mention, we're keeping this non-political), I was fully kilted and got some great compliments.

I just responded that in 8 yards of wool, how could I possibly be cold. All in all, a very good morning.
I voted too. I wore my Black Watch sport kilt. There was hardly any line. It took all of 5 minutes. I had no comment about my kilt what so ever.

I voted early in the morning before going off to work. Got a lot of smiles from the poll workers, all they asked was were my knee's cold? It was about 20 degrees out when I voted. Was ignored by the cranky rednecks standing in line. Waited in line for twenty minutes to vote the longest I've ever waited. Usually takes about five minutes. Wouldn't be surprised if over 70% of the registered voters an my precinct voted

OK. I guess I have to do a "me too." I'm almost always kilted and so I went to the poles yesterday in my regular outfit of UK, t-shirt, and boots. I was in line for about 20 minutes. Not a peep from anyone.
