I have wanted to own this tartan for a long time, without knowing this was being offered I just ordered some tartan in WOB colors. Finishing up some custom tailoring work now so I will still be able to buy some. I will be able to get at least 1.5 yds of Culloden Tartan.

Am I the only one who can't remember, figure out, or look up what "WoB means?
Thanks for any help.

For sure was considering it...I remain confused by the actual colors - the curse of computer monitors. That puzzlement has slowed me down. My current reality is to hold off as I struggle towards a long overdue retirement and put all possible funding towards that goal. Have more than enough kilts for sure. And, while the kilt would for sure honor Culloden methinks it would also make me sad and I'd have a tendency not to wear it much for that reason.
I do applaud and encourage all efforts to do custom runs of tartans and band together to make it a reality. Much appreciation for all the work that goes into such efforts.
Bottom line - I'm going to pass for the above personal reasons....thanks for asking.

riverkilt, I can appreciate your situation. However, I see it as a glass half empty/ half full type of scenario. I wear it to honor the very thing that saddens you. But I do understand. And thanks to all who helped get this running, with a veay special recognition going out to figheadair, without who's assistance, we wouldn't even be having any conversation at all concerning the 1746 Chlloden. Thank you figheadair, thank you very much.
