Kilts in Michigan
Will be in Michigan all next week for a traditional Bowhunting rendezvous. I would appreciate any suggestions or recommendations on kilt and Celtic shops around the state.
Thank you,

I think there's one shop in Frankenmuth called "Got Kilt". Other than that, I am not aware of any Highland Dress shops in Michigan.

Well met Pop (Andrew). Was your Michigan event for longbow or compound, targets or game? Have you entered or considered participating in Highland games archery events? Love to hear more about the adventure and see some photos. Good luck on finding a kilt while up there. Welcome from Oxford, MS.

Thank you, Brother Tarheel
The show is strictly for traditional Bowhunters; that is longbows and recurves. I have property in South Carolina on the Savannah River that I offer hunts on. I get a good many hunters from Michigan. I believe they come down partly because I have a lot of wild hogs and probably to get away from Michigan winters!
Thank you for your help and suggestions.
Kind regards,
Andrew Harper

PS to Tarheel:
I've never been to a Highlands game and did not know that they held archery competitions.
I have wild hog hunts but would certainly be interested in attending Highland games that involve shooting. Would like to hear more, please.
I'm a new subscriber and not sure if I can send you my email address. Will not send until I have proper permission from this site.

Thank you Mr. Ashton for the gentle reminder. I should have PM (and will) Andrew on Highland events that offer archery. Here's hoping that it will offer a way to involve him in being kilted more, by including another of his interests.
