Wow, what a great group
Hi folks,
Thanks much for your overwhelming response! To Steve the Wizard of BC...I'll keep an eye out for info on the 2016 Kilt Kamp in Victoria BC. Sounds wonderful!

Thanks! Susan
Although I leave knowledge of all things kilt making to my husband, I welcome you to X Maks!! It's always good to have more women on the forum. We live in Reno, so I'm betting there's a good chance we've seen the band in which you play if you've been to Pleasanton or Woodland.
All the best,

Hi, Susan, and welcome to X Marks from the bottom end of Africa.
You already have two plus points with me for being a drummer in a pipe band, and for wanting to make a kilt (kilts).
And clearly you are not one of those Lazy Susans we keep on hearing about!
Regards,
Mike

Salutations Susan and welcome to XMTS from a member of the "Nor Cal Rabble" based here in the Bay Area (I'm in San Jose).
Which pipe band are you affiliated with?
