What IS going on In Edgbaston?
I can't take the time off kilt-making, not in the final day of Kilt Kamp. Keeping up with the score on Cricinfo has been quite . . . traumatic. At least the Poms have to bat again

I'm happily amazed I expected to Snatch defeat from the jaws of victory as they normally do...

Dammit the Aussies could only last for three days, shame they could not make a game of it. He He He!

This isn't about the third Test but it's partially related to the thread. It's a picture of a cricket match on the isle of Arran. There are no kilts there, not surprisingly. As with so many cricket grounds the background is delectable.

Incidentally, I hope our Aussie contingent will accept our condolences - things could get better but they could even get worse!

If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

My thoughts too Jock. For some strange reason, my school, outside Edinburgh saw fit to play cricket in the summer. Involvement was mandatory and for my sins, or neat writing, I was obliged to keep the score for some of the matches. Unfortunately many of those coincided with F1 races on the radio and when the racing got exciting the scoring came a distant second and when there was no race I had a distinct tendency to fall asleep through boredom. Either way the score was only approximate. Now shinty - that was a different story.

I Truely Have No Words
I find it impossible to comment - I can only hope that Grizzled Ian is travelling around after Kilt Kamp and is blissfully unaware of what is happening in Nottingham.
In better news this 3rd test's kilt is a purple tartan with silver threads that will be a mini kilt with a bustle!
Bright, Loud, Very Non-Traditional ... But it's gotta be more successful than the Aussie cricket team...
