Sums up my thoughts too.
Cricket is a minority sport in Scotland though very popular in England.
Just another of those little things which make us Scots that wee bit different from our English friends and neighbours.

My thoughts too Jock. For some strange reason, my school, outside Edinburgh saw fit to play cricket in the summer. Involvement was mandatory and for my sins, or neat writing, I was obliged to keep the score for some of the matches. Unfortunately many of those coincided with F1 races on the radio and when the racing got exciting the scoring came a distant second and when there was no race I had a distinct tendency to fall asleep through boredom. Either way the score was only approximate. Now shinty - that was a different story.
