Hello from Los Angeles!

Hi, I'm Julian!
This last January I joined the Los Angeles Fife & Drums Corps to learn how to fife, and from there it was a slippery slope into kilt wearing! I presently own two kilts (UT kilt and a Sport Kilt) and I hope to add more once my budget allows it.
I'm not actually Scottish, but I am Irish on my mother's side (McBride's!).
I'd love to learn more about Celtics and Gaelic culture (and languages!), and all of you!
The dream is to learn to pipe. One day...

Well met Julian. Glad to have you with us. My daughter-in-law plays the flute but has not tried the fife. Would that transition be hard for her (or do you know) (in case I talk her into rejoining her musical activities.) Welcome from Oxford.
