Apologies everyone the games are indeed in September, NOT November. Thanks for the correction. We have a townhouse booked at Loon in September- be pretty foolish to show up in November.......

My family and I will be there all weekend. We love the NH Games and look forward to it all year.
Hope to see some X Markers there!

To those who have been before, would you suggest purchasing tickets online beforehand? Saturday is the only day we can make it. Also, what's the parking like?

Parking right at the games is essentially non-existent. They run a very efficient shuttle service throughout the town however. Designated parking lots are easy to find in Lincoln and the shuttles run continuously. The first time I went to the NH games I was skeptical about the shuttles but it really works quite well.
Ordering tickets online will save you a lot of time Saturday morning. Saturday is the busiest day and there will be a long line of folks waiting to buy tickets.
Hope that helps!

Sadly the reduced price advance tickets are only available until the end of July. But you can still save the wait in line by ordering now.
As Scott said Friday is the quieter day and the only day for the sheepdog trials if that interests you. Saturday is all the heavy athletics and massed bands.
The full tentative schedule is available on line http://www.nhscot.org/2014-schedule-.html
Oh, and I will be there all three days in the Buchanan Clan Tent.

I'll probably go, but don't know what day. It'll be the first outing for my new box-pleat MacLachlan Modern.

@Bluescelt and I were just talking about this this weekend at the Capitol District Scottish Games. At this point, I believe I will be able to make it (again) . But this year I am working at the games and have not received my schedule(s) yet .
