    Hey Chris,

I've worn my SportKilts to local concerts and to trade conferences/trainings. But out here in the wild west of the canyonlands no one really notices the difference from a true kilt.

I've had my best luck with kilts working with the individual custom makers like Steve at FreedomKilts and Jeff at Pittsburgh Kilts.

Just made my down payment on my clan tartan hand sewn tank with Kathy at Kathy's Kilts www.kathyskilts.com

Chose her because she went over to Scotland to kiltmaking school, got her certificates, then came back to hand sew in the old ways here. No customs mess and good prices.

Anyway, I've yet to have anyone say "That's not a real kilt." When I'm wearing my SportKilt...but don't know about a more kilt sophisticated area like Ontario.... try it and see.

So if I got a Philabeg in real wool, is there something I need to do to prevent pleat puckering? Or is it unavoidable with sewn down pleats and wool?
