So I took part in the Highland Games Demo at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Fair last weekend - yay me ! The guys in charge were great & the other participants were very nice . We had 2 tries each at the sheaf (not sheep) toss & the caber toss . First try at the sheaf toss went smooth .

On the second try I thought it was going over then the sheaf caught up on the rope & brought down the entire goal set up thingy . Thankfully the crowd found that to be very entertaining !
I scored a 12 o'clock on the first caber toss
& for the second & considerably bigger caber I scored a 12:10
Over all it was a great experience & I felt I did a pretty good job for my first time despite a small moment of destruction . Now to go out & do some more of this stuff ...
