It was just my way of saying how much I liked her.

She is now the longest reigning monarch for the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. A very great lady, May HaShem bless the righteous ruler! (Jewish blessing for reigning sovereigns).

I have heard that our queen has a good brain and memory and has in the past sent back laws which are not properly set out or which are contrary to laws already 'on the books' with a request that Parliament tries a bit harder before asking her to sign things.

When at a recent meeting of the Women's Institute she revealed that she has been using Skype.

She'll be a hard act to follow.

May her reign be long and the crown sit lightly upon her.

In WWII she served in the MTC and trained as a mechanic. I have heard that she is still not afraid to change here own tires if the need were to arise.

A milestone such as we shall never see again in our lifetimes.

The Queen has had to live longer than Queen Victoria to do it as Victoria was only 18 when she ascended the throne, whereas Queen Elizabeth was 25.

King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand has reigned longer than her Majesty but he is younger also.

She modestly stated that the achievement was "not one to which I have ever aspired".

But many others were aspiring for her.
