Outside the front door
Here I am tpa - at my front door.

I'm a new player; does this mean I get to make the next challenge?

I think the time is up to meet this photo challenge and since I avoid airports at all cost so I'm waiting for a different photo op.

Ill try to meet this photo op tomorrow at St Louis Highland Games. They have been moved to the old Chesterfield airport so I should be able to snap a pic there.

Ok I'll see if this is acceptable to all concerned. Today Jennifer and I attended the St Louis MO Highland games. They were moved to the Spirit of St Louis Airport due to the large turnout of athletes competing in the Masters Championships. The turnout of athletes was amazing, the weather stayed cool with cloud cover and everyone seemed to enjoy the day. Over 170 competitors were at work for two days. A breeze today didn't seem to hinder too many and kept the day nice. Now to the photos. This venue was on the Spirit of St Louis Airport property and we were not far from the tarmac and runway. Medical helicopters were flying in and out along with quite a few small air craft. The photos of me are taken from the games venue looking at the airport. First photo is showing the runway, windsock and tower. Second photo shows a hangar with some light aircraft parked. I think this would qualify as at an airport and offer these photos to mass approval or thumbs down. Kilt is my USA kilt wool Canadian Maple Leaf box pleated, tattersall shirt, MOJO leather sporran, vest I made and bonnet bought from an XMark member Dixiecat.

Now to the new challenge, if my photos are accepted. The next few months see a plethora of Ren fest and Highland games so Kilted at an event with a member of a band. They should be holding their instrument or if they are drums have them in the photo. Don't be shy and go up to your favorite artist and get a photo snapped with them. This has to be at an event not just at your local pub jam session. I know Friday night at the pub can be an event but I want everyone to get out and enjoy the fall weather at a fest or games and get a photo with a band member.

Well done brewerpaul. I thought everyone had given up on this one, so today I got my wife to take a picture of me at Bergerac airport in France, first opportunity I'd had. I'd just uploaded it and then discovered you beat me to it!
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Nicely done, "brewerpaul." Have you met any other XMTS members during the games? I do know that quite a few are attending that event.
