Great pics, Father Bill! Many years ago, I spent a Marine Corps tour of duty in Ottawa (American Embassy) and well remember the glorious autumn foliage. It was not to be topped, especially the maples! Of course, I also remember the winter weather that followed, including ice skating on the Rideau Canal and much snow! In 1970-71, I remember that Ottawa got 196 inches of snow in total, and a few days when the actual temperature was -40 F. and wind-chill was down to -100 F. I learned what block-heaters were for! All part of the outdoor wonders in that city. I had a great time there!
