I had a "moment" my first week kilted (last week) when I underestimated the power of a gentle breeze in a Home Depot parking lot. And yes, there was someone behind me who saw a fool moon in the middle of the day. Glad I wasn't walking towards her.

My take on this is that military protocol dictates how uniforms should look, boots shined and all that. Doesn't protocol also dictate decorum? Like you wouldn't go wearing your hat or cap away back on your head of whatever. There are rules about how to behave. It should be a soldier's first consideration as to how he looks. Especially sitting next to the Queen having a photo taken. Whether it was deliberate or accidental, the guy whoever he is should be disciplined appropriately. - Longforgan

On second thoughts! I think that Highlandtide may have a good point. That is that the photo is doctored. I was once a professional photographer and it's the photog's responsibility to make sure that everyone is looking o-k before pressing the button. If the pro goofed, then it becomes the editor's responsibility to fix the shot. Question then would be; Why didn't he? Yeah, the authenticity of that shot is highly questionable. - Longforgan
