Indeed it's excellent, Peter. I think I would have preferred at least some of it with the sounds of the loom rather than music throughout.

Me too Alan but it was their show so to speak. I have a number of clips that I took myself that need to edit together and then that can compliment the musical version .

An interesting choice partly because of the very talented Breton lassie playing it - the Highland bagpipe has recently made its way to Brittany - but also because nobody seems to know where "Melbank" might be and the piobaireachd is more correctly called “MacKenzie of Millbank’s Salute” composed in 1821 by John MacKay from Raasay.

(The island of Raasay lies just across from Gairloch where Mackenzie of Millbank was tutor to Sir Hector Mackenzie the young fourth Baronet of Gairloch.)
Sorry, Peter, gone right off topic!

    Pleating options

Thinking of pleating to alternate stripes which I think will look very smart.

Looking very smart, Peter! I presume the kilt being worked on by Paul Henry is the knife-pleated one for your son. I hope you're able to get the military box-pleat kilt for yourself, too. I have four box-pleat kilts and love them for their light weight and good appearance!

That's it Gerry. There'll be enough for my kilt too 😊.
