    Book - Fight for a Throne - The Jacobit '45 Reconsidered

    Sounds like an interesting read. The hardcopy is a bit pricey - I need to wait for the Kindle version.

    At 544 pages, and authored by such a well-respected historian, I believe it might be worth serious consideration. Like you, I would have to reach deep into the coin purse, but I will have to read it sooner than later.

    I just bought a slightly used copy. Duffy's previous work on the '45 was exceptionally good.
