Red Hot Chili Pipers were Fun

Went to the Dunedin (FL) Celtic Music & Craft Beer Festival yesterday. Rained the first half of the day. So much so that we finally gave up on wearing our rain ponchos and just embraced the wet and danced in the rain. Surprisingly enough you an swing to the song "Wagon Wheel" when it's done properly.

Anyway, the highlight of the night was The Red Hot Chili Pipers. We really enjoyed the show. Everything sounds better with bagpipes after all. check them out if you get the chance.

Here's a picture of my handsome Scot and myself watching the local
Middle School pipe band perform. All the money from this event goes back to the middle school, high school and city pipe and drum bands. Those kids were fantastic.

I caught them at the Lannadoo festival in Jacksonville Beach the weekend of the 14th. Great show, especially when they invited Jaeger Willis (of the Willis clan), on stage to play their Sunday show with them.

Would love to see the RHCP someday, if they get out to my stretch of the West Coast. About rain, yes, sometimes you simply have to give in and let it do its worst. aving a fun event leavens that quite a bit. You may have to change your avatar name for one post, though. Something like SoddenRedHead or such. Glad to hear you had a fun outing.

You definitely don't want to miss them if you get the chance. I even wore my red woollen socks (mandatory wear from school days in summer with white shorts sand red blazer) with my kilt to the event. I did take pictures of the RHCPs, but can't say that the reverse applies!
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
