Buying Garters for a pair of flashes

I recently purchased a used kilt that came with matching tartan flashes. But the flashes are not on garters.

Where can I buy a pair of garters?

Yes, I do carry just garters alone and would be more than willing to sell you a set - but don't you have access to some elastic and some velcro? That's what I use.

I can make a pair from elastic and velcro. But I do like the metal hooks on my other flashes.

    Thanks for the reply

If you already have garters that you like, look at them to see if you can slide the flashes off of them. If you can, then you can just use the same garters with different flashes.

I can slide them off but the fit is tight so it's a pain. The opening on the latest set is larger so they slide on & off garters quite easily.

    Thanks

Local dry cleaner can usually do it

If you are looking for Velcro and elastic, most local dry cleaning shops (those that also do minor repairs) can make them.

Thank you. That's a good idea.

I have a friend that can make them but bought a pair from Highland X-Press
