As noted above, the 2016 Whisky of the Year, according to Jim Murray, Crown Royal's Northern Harvest Rye. Interestingly, while Canadian whisky is often referred to a "Rye Whisky", most of it now has but a few percent of rye grain in them, relying more on corn and other mashes. Northern Harvest Rye is comprised of 90% rye grain.
