Oh, come on Will! That is just as bad as believing that kilts are for special events and occasions only!!
    Spot on, Ham!
There's nothing more invigorating than an icy blast up your pleats.
    And, of course,
    Kilts are garments, not costumes!

I really feel great wearing a kilt while it is cold outside. Seems to keep me invigorated

I feel it shows a true sense of devotion, and the bottom of my kilt doesn't get icy as the bottom of my trousers did.

I have had someone call me a martyr once while it was pretty cold out.

Boy , you guys don't let me off easily!

In any case, I don't intend to put the kilts away for the winter.

However, I tend to hibernate during the winter. The outdoor activities that I like are mostly warm weather activities; such as motorcyling and Ren Faires. So I don't spend much time outdoors in winter.
Also, at this point, I don't have the wool kilts and kilt hose that some of you do. The kilts I have are from Stillwater kilts. They might not be as warm as others.

Like Andrew Breecher mentioned, so far my legs haven't been any colder than in trousers. So that is a good sign.

So I am sure that I will wear my kilts during the winter. I just don't go out much during winter other than to go to work.

Don't think that I will turn into a heretic and give up my kilts!
