    I have popped in to this thread late in the game, but I'm glad I did, in one shot I saw the tartan go from a computer image to a kilt without waiting for the next installment in the process! The videos have shown me that traditional methods are quite physically demanding, and you must get bad eye strain after following that shuttle from side to side a million times.

    Gerry, it looks old but in fact is only about 25 years old. Made by a friend, MOD cantle and deer hide, it has been around the block as they say. We have one c1750 in the family which I will wear for my son's wedding over Easter.
