    casual kilt alteration (waist size)

I am aware that the velcro tabs on the Casual kilt do adjust about 2" both sides. Anyone have any experience with weight loss and require more adjustment? Would it be possible to remove a pleat or two, or is it better to order a smaller size. Thanks

I would guess moving the Velcro in the same manor as moving buckles would work just fine as long as the Velcro is just stitched and not otherwise adhered, I've not worn my casual since early fall so I cannot recall the details of its construction.

I wouldn't even move the velcro... probably just as well ADD velcro... That way, the original stuff is left alone in case you decide you'd like to pass it onto someone else in the future. Decent velcro is relatively inexpensive.
