North Texas Irish Festival was a great sucess. Sorry we didn't have a meet up to get a group picture, but I thought some of you might appreciate this.
The 501st Kilted Storm Troopers were with us in the Scottish Village, and they even brought along a kilted Darth Vader.

Sorry about the blurry picture. My wife says I'm great at many things, but holding a camera steady while taking a piccture is not one of them.

All that armour and only a sporran to protect the important bits!!!!

We have a group that march in the Denver St. Patrick's Day parade like that. They dress in the Star Wars stuff and wear kilts.

I met some Star Wars people at the Long Beach Comic Expo a few weeks ago

Very disappointing that my son should go from Archeology to smuggling... and don't even ask about my grandson!

We took a three-generation photo anyhow

My only quibble with that Stormtrooper kilt is that I think it should be solid plain black. The whole costume is black and white, the hard bits white, the soft bits black, so it follows that a kilt if worn would be black. I would have a plain white sporran, shiny white Patent Leather probably. Stormtroopers don't wear fur, nor do they have any silver bits, I don't think.

BTW at LBCE there was a fantastic Steampunk Vader. Wow.

And the Hoth Stormtroopers had the long white coats - I think white would be a good choice as well.

Even though I can't see it too well, I like the storm troopers sporran!
